  • When I visited the shop on Saturday May's afternoon, the coffee shop was full, and tables snapped quickly when someone left. They have great outdoor garden and a small room downstairs, with unusual decoration (by previous owner). I won't give you any specific information so you can find out for yourself. The staff was very helpful and helped us clear the outdoor table as rain just stopped. The food was modern and tasty. I will be going back there, as it's definitely worth it. Recommended.

  • The place itself is very nice and the staff are polite, efficient and professional. The coffee is NOT good, especially if you like just a black espresso (super acidic aftertaste)...other drinks we tried were ok. There is a good variety of food options and we tried a few...the food was fine, nothing extraordinary but good. I think it is a good option for a brunch in Angel.

  • The basement bit is a blessing on a hot day. It's so cool in every sense of the word. The amount of effort it must have taken to decorate that place is mad. Matcha with raspberry is also very refreshing and they do amazing coffee!

  • Absolutely loved the toasts here! Perfectly toasted bread, generous fillings, and really well-balanced flavors. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients and care. One of the best toasts I’ve had in a long time. Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it even better. Highly recommend!

  • Redemption Roasters in Angel is a lovely spot with a welcoming ambiance, though experiences can vary depending on seating. This was my second visit—on my first, I sat in their garden, which offered a more pleasant and spacious experience. Unfortunately, due to the colder weather this time, we opted to stay indoors, where the multiple levels were quite crowded, however we were lucky to find a spot. The coffee was enjoyable in flavor, though served lukewarm, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, their breakfast selection is extensive, offering a variety of pastries, cakes and sandwiches. The portions are fair, and the taste is consistently good. One improvement I’d suggest is an upgrade to their seating. A woman sitting just ahead of me fell when her chair gave way, and I was able to catch her. Thankfully, she was fine, but sturdier seating would definitely be a plus. Overall, I look forward to returning on a sunny day to enjoy the garden area, where the atmosphere is even more enjoyable and spacious.

  • Inside is quite crowded and dark, with both of the lightbulbs in the back half of the space being out when I’ve gone (!) so it’s pretty ridiculously dark. Coffee is nice but some days it seems to come out better than others (today’s latte was practically all milk). Prefer the (similarly crowded but better lit) Japanese cafe next door for actually sitting down in.
